Prototype Technician

Job Description
- Assists in the construction of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of a lead technician or supervisor
- Assists in the preparation, set up, and performance of tests
- Perform laboratory tests and measurements of components, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data with supervision as required
- Perform tests according to established procedures with supervision as required
- Ensures that laboratory areas and evaluation areas are kept clean and free of all safety hazards
- Conducts all tests in a professional and safe manner
Job Requirements
- Advanced technical skills

- Able to grasp fundamental testing principles
- Strong "hands-on" skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Computer proficiency
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High School Diploma, Associate or Trade School degree, or equivalent experience
