Quality Control Inspector

Job Description
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Utilize various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing devices, to verify dimensions, tolerances, and other critical parameters.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to understand product specifications and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, non-conformance's, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that manufacturing processes comply with relevant quality management systems.
- Investigate and analyze non-conformance's, defects, and deviations to identify root causes and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of quality control procedures and processes.
- Provide input to the continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components, and collaborate on resolving quality issues.
- Conduct supplier audits as needed to assess and monitor supplier quality performance.
- Provide training to production personnel on quality control procedures and the importance of compliance with established standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in quality control technologies and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in the defense manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of defense industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, testing equipment, and quality control methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Certification in quality control or related field is a plus.
