Automotive Test Technician

Job Description
We are currently seeking two (2) skilled Test Technicians to contribute to innovative projects in Auburn Hills, MI. You'll play a crucial role in assisting with the construction of lab apparatus and conducting various tests under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of a lead technician or supervisor.
- Prepare, set up, and perform tests, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Conduct laboratory tests and measurements of components, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in laboratory and evaluation areas, ensuring a professional and safe working environment.
- Perform other support services as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Advanced technical skills with a strong foundation in testing principles.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Exceptional "hands-on" skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-starter with proficiency in computer operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma required, Associate's or Trade School degree preferred.
